Charlie ChinCharlie Chin Charlie Chin, a favorite at the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, has been teaching, performing, writing and composing for more than 30 years. Charlie weaves tales filled with humor, insight and wisdom as deftly and intricately as an ancient silk brocade.

Willy ClaflinWilly Claflin Willy Claflin was born before television and grew up day dreaming and impersonating wild life. In boarding school, he found out he was funny, at Harvard he became a folk singer, and while teaching school, he discovered that kids love learning from puppets. Fortunately for us, Willy was able to combine all of these talents and become the master storyteller that he is. Willy and his very popular companion, Maynard Moose, have performed and written children's books for over 25 years.

Donald Davis

Donald Davis For Donald Davis, storytelling is a way of giving and living life.  It is not what he does, it is who he is. Donald invites each listener to come along, to pull deep inside for one's own stories, to personally share and co-create the common experiences that celebrate the creative spirit. For Donald Davis, storytelling ". . . is not what I do for a living, . . .it is how I do all that I do while I am living."

Beth HornerBeth Horner From the heart of the nation, Midwesterner Beth Horner's goal as a storyteller is to entertain and encourage her listeners to dip into the wealth of their own imaginations. "When I'm telling stories to 50 different people, there are 50 different movies going on in the minds of listeners. Nothing is as powerful or vivid as your own imagination." Beth will engage you in adventures you create together–stories that will thrill, chill, delight and invite you to look at life through brand new eyes.

Best known for his popular commentaries on National Public Radio's “All Things Considered,” Kling's autobiographical tales are as enchanting as they are true to life: hopping freight trains, getting hit by lightning, performing his banned play in Czechoslovakia, growing up in Minnesota, and eating things before knowing what they are. In an eagerly awaited return to Timpanogos, Kevin is a one-man, must-hear adventure second to none.
