Timpanogos Storytelling Midwinter Conference February 2010
The Midwinter Event is a sister to the Summer Festival which presents, in addition to storytelling performances, extensive educational outreach programs. The storytellers who participate in this event offer workshops in area schools as well as adult workshops during the Storytelling Conference, held at the BYU Conference Center. Special events, such as the evening Storytelling Concerts for the general public, take place in other venues, including the BYU Conference Center, the Orem Public Library and Mountain View High School.
The 2010 Midwinter Event will take place February 3-6 at the BYU Conference Center. This year's featured storytellers are Donald Davis, Gay Ducey, and Doug Lipman.

The name of the festival comes from the Timpanogos mountain that towers over the festival. It is run by a non-profit organization, The Friends of the Orem Public Library, "to preserve and promote the art of storytelling throughout the west.
